Professional History

Mr. Fariss is a lifelong resident of Prince Edward County, Virginia. He graduated from Fuqua School and then attended Longwood University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology.

Mr. Fariss obtained his law degree from Liberty University School of Law in May 2025, where he focused his studies on criminal law, appellate advocacy, and trial advocacy. During law school, he was a member of the Student Bar Association.

He was admitted to practice law in Virginia in 2025.

Community and Personal Interests

Mr. Fariss’s ties to Southside Virginia extend beyond his legal practice. In his free time, he works on his family’s farm in Green Bay, Virginia and enjoys spending time outdoors. He also enjoys cooking for friends and family and attending sporting events.

Mr. Fariss maintains regular office hours in the Farmville office, although he may be available to meet in other locations upon request.
